Welcome back to the 10 key points to doubling your turnover. In the last blog we went through points 1 and 2. These were “Your 100% growth strategy” and “The importance of simultaneous not sequential action”. I hope you found them enlightening.
So without further a do, as promised, here are points 3 and 4.
- Your 3 Most Important Leverage Points
First of all what do I actually mean by leverage points? I mean something that from a small, or disproportional amount of effort brings phenomenal results.
The first of these is automation. I cannot stress the effectiveness of automation. The effort you put in is so small compared to the results that you receive. Examples of this are automated quote follow ups, automated emails, automated brochure request responses, they increase the return you see of things dramatically with, after the initial set up, no effort at all.
The second is extraordinary marketing. If you take the time to test and perfect your marketing avenues, be it google, display ads, direct mail etc. the return again increases dramatically. The amount of time and effort it actually takes to test different copy, different offers, different layouts etc. is very small compared to the returns you see.
The third is people. The people you employ. The people you subcontract to etc. Take the time to find the right person for the right job, it may take a few attempts but don’t be scared of making changes. If someone is not doing the job properly you have to change it as if you are bringing the work in but it is not being carried out properly and you are seeing your customers leave you are going to struggle to keep your business profitable!
- The Acceptance Of Wealth
When you are successful and you become very wealthy you need to be careful. You have to have the right mindset to deal with your new found wealth.
Don’t look at the pursuit of money as a bad thing. The pursuit of money at the end of the day is the pursuit of financial freedom, and isn’t the pursuit of freedom a noble cause. I for one certainly think it is.
The pursuit of financial freedom is a noble cause, I believe this, I live this and so should you. Anyone who tries to argue with you simply cannot be bothered to pursue the noble cause of financial freedom as it is by no means an easy road to travel.
We are now starting to build a very solid base in your mind of what you need to do to get to where you want to be, points 5 and 6 are to follow and once you have all 10 you will be much better equipped to tackle the day to day challenges in business and in life.
